A Texas injury law firm: into the top 3 of the map pack in five months

Where the business started

A well-regarded personal injury firm in a big Texas metro already ranked well, but larger multi-practice firms with bigger marketing budgets kept outranking it for the cases it wanted most.

Its website lacked local relevance signals and authority, and its Google Business Profile was poorly optimized, so it missed the map pack, where many people choosing a lawyer make their first contact.

What was done

  1. 1. A local audit

We reviewed the firm's Google Business Profile, its citations and the link profiles of the competing firms to find where it was weakest.

  2. 2. Service pages tied to the city

The firm's service pages were rewritten with content about its own city and marked up with local business schema, so each page clearly belonged to that service area.

  3. 3. Citations and authority

Its name, address and phone were made consistent across legal and local directories, and links from authoritative sites were placed over the five months.

  4. 4. Reviews

A process to ask satisfied clients for reviews strengthened the profile and the map ranking.

The same four steps, in the same order, start every package.

What a chiropractic practice can take from it

A law firm and a chiropractic office have a lot in common in search: both are licensed local practices, both have advertising rules of their own, and both are picked by people who look at a map and then at reviews. That is why this is the result we put first.

What carries over directly is the order of the work: fix the profile and the listings, give each service a page that belongs to your town, then build links and reviews steadily. What doesn't carry over is the review process itself: for a practice it has to work within HIPAA, so reply wording never confirms anyone is a patient.

The same work comes in every package; see local SEO for chiropractors. Other results: the Florida local roofing contractor and the California window tinting company.
